To check your RAM through task manager, simply right click on taskbar and go to task manager. On task manager go to the performance tab then to the memory tab. On the top right corner, above the graph, you can see the type of memory and the amount of memory you have installed on your computer.
To check your RAM through directx diagnostic tool, simply go to run dialog and type in dxdiag. On the first page of system you can find the amount of memory installed in your computer.
To check your RAM through CPU-Z, a system information software, simply download the CPU-Z from cpuid website and run it. Once you run it, you can go to the memory section and figure out the amount of RAM you have installed on your computer.
